  • Pirates of the Burning Sea Review

Some of you may remember my Project Entropia Review, and this may come as a shock, but I have found a game even worse.

Pirates of the Burning Sea looked promising during development, right up untill they decided to use Sony as their publisher.

The problem with Sony publishing is that Sony doesn't publish shit. Their game servers are slow as fuck, if you can connect to the thing, their patcher has been around for a fucking decade and it doesn't patch shit. No game in history has ever worked through Sony's service, it's no wonder PotBS is the latest train to wreck on the rails known as Sony.

Their patcher estimated the download time at over 120 days. 45 minutes later it was 75% complete, 119 days to go. Way to go Sony, you mathematician marvels of magnificence.

Somewhere around 99% it got stuck, but was still moving, kinda. I let it run for hours and hours, nothing, so I restarted it. It resumed at the 40% mark. What beauty. I let it run even longer, stuck in the same spot. Restarted it, said a bunch of files were corrupt, redownloaded those, and then it went into Self-Termination mode.

The downloader would self-cancel (saying I cancelled it), self-terminate (who needs exception handling these days), or self-destruct itself, then self-update it's self-destructed self. It was the most magical thing I have ever seen, a living, breathing, piece of patching software. It knew it existed, and that it was sick, it was trying to fix itself, but ultimately, I had to uninstall it, end it's suffering as a confused, lost, Sony Patcher.

This is the first game in history, out of literally 1000's of games, I've uninstalled before playing it. Therefor, it is now in 1st place on my list of games that suck frog shit.

Alright, so there's an ad at the bottom of the forums for this "free" game, so I downloaded it and installed it hoping it'd provide at least a days worth of entertainment. I signed up for an account, and oh, what's this, apparently they need more information about me than my family even knows, and to top it off, I have to wait up to 24 hours for a human being to qualify my account.

So after this is done, it lets me choose a password. Actually it doesn't, using an insanely strict passw

  • The Adventures of Lary
    by Evilbob
This is a really strange game. I found it accidentally actually, I was looking for midget porn and I ended up finding this instead. It seems to be early in development so I'll cut it some slack. So you play as some guy named Lary, you go around and talk to people and stuff. I don't think there's much of a story to it, though some things do happen. The graphics are pretty bad, I mean what is this, 1995? Who made this thing anyway? The battles are like Dragon Quest for the NES. The mus...

Me, Randy, and his girlfriend were walking back from a 7/11, and 6 native kids come around the corner, holding three cans of what the cops told us was BEAR MACE. They asked for our shit, so Randy grabbed one of them by the neck, and I dropped another to the ground and gave him elbow shots, the back of his head smashing into concrete each time. All three of us have been maced by now, Randys girlfriend Kelsie, just stood in the middle of the brawl freaking out, and the adrenaline allowed Ra...

  • Tenstones Internet Drama quick reference guide
    by Evilbob

I figure the reason no one signs up here is probably because no one knows what the fuck is going on, so here's a guide of some of the highlights of the drama that's gone on over the last few years: 1. Bob/Shannon -Bob and Shannon used to date, then they broke up because Bob is lazy and Shannon is a man -Shannon got pissed off because Bob was using her credit card to pay for this site's hosting -For some horrible reason naked pictures of Shannon were posted, causing most of the sit...
