Here's the game that got me into RPGs in the first place:


This is an incredibly polarizing game - some people love it, some hate it. Personally I think it's one of the greatest RPGs ever made. It's like Dragon Warrior on the NES combined with a bad acid trip.

I think Earthbound was one of the first RPGs with a modern setting. It's a nice break from the medieval games that every other company was pumping out at the time.

And this guy's name is fucking Poo. If that doesn't inspire you to play this game you suck ass.

The battles and enemies are weird, but it all adds to the charm of the game. It's a very text-heavy game so if you're illiterate go play Madden or something. The graphics are great in a cartoony way, the music is catchy, the game is fun to play, I have nothing bad to say about it. I'll give it a 10/10 - Kicks your ass and doesn't call you in the morning
